Andrea La Valleur
Andrea La Valleur-Purvis is a 30-something, British-born, freelance designer now living in Seattle, Washington. Her role as Copter Labs' only female designer adds a new flavor to the previously all-male team. After completing her degree at CVA , Andrea immersed herself in all things design. Andrea's designs reflect the aesthetic and straightforward sense of purpose in everyday stuff she loves.
Drew Douglass
Drew Douglass is an experienced and skilled web developer living in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He's worked on all kinds of web development and software projects, working on both the client and server side. He's currently a back-end developer for Copter Labs, and he also works for the awesome web company Envato as the Support Team Manager.
Jason Lengstorf
Jason Lengstorf a turbogeek hailing from Portland, Oregon. He designs and develops websites using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (jQuery), CSS, and HTML. He's written two books (PHP for Absolute Beginners [2009 Apress] and Pro PHP and jQuery [2010 Apress]), and he's written articles on development and design for Nettuts, CSS Tricks, and Smashing Magazine, among others.
Rob MacKay
Rob MacKay was born and bred in the Northwest of England, or as all English people know it "God's Country". His interest in new technology led him to become part of the gaming generation, with help from his brand spanking new Commodore 64 (and his parents' cash flow). Although gaming was the main pastime, he didn't stop there — his C64 also gave him the opportunity to create BASIC programs, which he used to create text-based adventure games, of course!
Alex Newman
Alex Newman is a pixel perfectionist based in Miami, FL. He specializes in custom artwork, and has earned the prestigious title of Resident Font Genius amongst his Copter Labs confederates. When he's not making websites prettier for Copter Labs' clients, he's a UX designer at In The Rooms. (And when he's not doing that, he's probably eating cheese.)
Tom Sturge
Tom Sturge is a 26-year-old nerd to the core — being a developer was always going to be his calling. His weapons of choice (for now) are PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, but this arsenal is always growing. He's been tinkering with code since the late 90s, and a few years ago he had a stint with his own company.
